Seniors News
ENTERPRISE : The Seniors are well into their Enterprise program. We began the term by brainstorming what kind of product we wanted to produce. It was unanimous that chicken wraps would be it!!
We are trialing the product and although there is still a bit of work to do, especially on how to role a wrap we are hoping they will be ready to sell later in term 2.. So watch this space for the yummy news!!
WORKPLACE LEARNING: Almost all of our students are out and about in their work placements and are doing a fantastic job. Some of our host employers this year include: Swan Valley Nursery, Guildford Landing, Department of Housing, Friendship Café & Woolworths. There are some great opportunities for our seniors to show that they can meet the demands in the world of work. The support staff continue to do a fantastic job assisting students with their workplace tasks.
TAFE & SCHOOL COURSES : All students have been enrolled in a Certificate 1 TAFE course which include: Hospitality, Horticulture & Dry Cleaning. In school students have also been enrolled in the Certificate 1 Business Course & the CGEA Course. So our senior students are very busy working on some great qualifications.
